Senior Staff Environmental Professional

Branch Manager
Environmental Compliance Services, Inc., (ECS), a growing leader in the environmental consulting industry throughout the Northeast, Southeast and Midwest, is seeking a Branch Manager at its Bow, New Hampshire office.  This position requires a candidate with a minimum BS degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or other relevant discipline with 12-15 years of environmental consulting experience.  A Professional Engineering (PE) or a Professional Geologist (PG) certification is required. The Branch Manager will supervise a staff of professionals and provide overall project coordination, data management, and senior review of technical report writing and preparation of regulatory submittals in addition to basic supervisory responsibilities.

The Branch Manager will be wholly responsible for client relations, management, and retention. Also, a commitment to generating new business is expected.   Task management skills and the ability to work under deadline pressures are required. Having experience and/or contact history with New Hampshire regulatory agencies is a plus.

Project Manager and Senior Geologist/Engineer
Sanborn, Head & Associates, Inc. (SHA) seeks highly-qualified candidates for employment on an ongoing basis for all of our offices. At this time, we are primarily interested in geoscientists to join our technical team in our Concord, NH or Portland, ME offices, and assist us on a variety of current projects for our clients in industrial (manufacturing and scrap materials processing), commercial (development and solid waste) and public agency sectors.

Successful candidates would hold one or more degrees in geology, hydrogeology, groundwater science/engineering or civil/environmental engineering, and have prior working experience. These positions require experience in subsurface investigations, quantitative assessment of aquifer systems, contaminant fate and transport, and/or design and implementation of environmental remediation systems. Strong quantitative, writing, and verbal skills are essential for each position. Qualified candidates must possess a Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer registration (NH or ME preferred), or the ability to obtain pertinent professional registration within two to three years.
